Summer 2020 has proven to be a challenging year in every way, but with the hard work of the Board, our lawn bowling club re-opened and members are once again out enjoy both the sport and the friendship of other bowlers.

Another season of outdoor bowling came to a close, and we celebrated the winners with a year-end awards luncheon.

The weather was perfect! The fellowship was great! The volunteers were amazing!

In preparation for Remembrance Day, 2018 Howie and the crew got the green ready, and Pat and Radka helped Sue put another 400 poppies on sticks, to add to last year’s poppies and flags.

So our outdoor bowling for 2018 is over but beautiful sunny days on the greens will be welcome once again next year!

Another fabulous Canada Day – how do we always get so lucky with the weather?

How lucky are we to have flowers we can use from our own gardens, to have Jane and Keith setting up tables, to have Jackie buttering, and Moraig and Kathy making the best sandwiches (with a huge thank you to City Market for donating the loaves)!
