Indoor Bowls Tournament

The outdoor greens are now closed for the season so it is time to move to indoor bowling. The Club held a members’ indoor bowling tournament on October 22, 2022. This is a great game to sharpen your short jack skills over the Winter and it is particularly appealing to bowl when it is raining or snowing outside. The format is 3 games of 8 ends each with a lunch break after the first two games.

The play was spirited with lots of fun along the way. The team of Bodie and John won the cash for first place. The prizes for second and third were split between two teams that tied: Grace and Monica and Homa and Rose. Gerry and Julie won the door prize draw.

Remember: bowling doesn’t end when the leaves turn colour. Indoor bowling is fun and challenging. Let’s have a big turnout for the next competition in November.
